Understanding Human Design
Not fact. Not fiction.
Just one more way to know yourself.
What is Human Design?
Let me start with this: Human Design is a tool—not a ‘gospel.’
It’s a system that weaves together astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah, the chakra system, and quantum physics to create what’s essentially a personal blueprint. It’s designed to help you understand how you’re wired: how you make decisions, process energy, interact with the world, and show up at your most aligned.
Now—if your inner skeptic just perked up, you’re not alone. I get it. Human Design is a pseudo-science, much like the Enneagram, Myers-Briggs, or DiSC. It’s not about proof or peer-reviewed studies. It’s not meant to diagnose or define. And honestly? That’s not where I find the magic anyway.
What I do find valuable is this: any tool that sparks self-reflection, that helps us pause and say, “Oh… that feels true,” or even, “Wow, I never thought about it that way,”—that’s worth paying attention to.
I didn’t come to Human Design as a die-hard believer. I came with curiosity, a love of self-inquiry, and a deep respect for anything that gives us language for what we’ve always felt but maybe didn’t know how to name.
To me, Human Design doesn’t belong on a pedestal. But it does belong in the same room as the other tools we turn to when we want to understand ourselves and each other better. If you’re the kind of person who’s filled out a personality quiz and felt seen by the result, then yeah, you’ll probably find something useful here, too.
I don’t use Human Design to put people in boxes. I use it to offer a mirror. A map. A conversation starter. A permission slip. Sometimes, it hits home. Sometimes, it doesn’t. And both are okay.
I’m not here to tell you what to believe. I’m here to create space for you to explore what feels true in your body, your story, and your lived experience.
Because if Human Design helps you live with more alignment, more clarity, more you-ness, then I say: take what resonates, and leave the rest.
That’s always the rule.
